The Australian Gold Council (AGC) and the Minerals Council of Australia (MCA) have agreed to transfer the AGC's role to the MCA.

The MCA has established a Gold Forum to provide a focus on gold consistent with the objects of the AGC and is excited at the prospects of enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness to represent the minerals industry and an even greater focus on gold specific interests.
